Chasing Dreams in Laos
LEOT School runs a Dreamcatcher programme for students pursuing their goals and dreams.
About 30 students who are in their final year of high school or have finished school meet twice a month. Some are unsuccessful at getting one of the limited places at university
We aim to help students identify their dreams and provide support and information to learn about how to achieve their goals.
Students learn about CV’s, interviews and applying for jobs in the English classes and Computer classes. Recently the Dreamcatcher programme focused on this and I assisted by talking about what employers look for at an interview. it’s great to be able to provide encouragement and practical skills to youth in the hope they will secure better jobs in the future.
